Easy Beetroot Hummus (1 Minute Video)

We always have hummus in the fridge because it makes such a good snack and addition of protein to simple plant-based meals. We especially love it when it's colourful - like this bright pink beetroot hummus. We also prefer to make it at home - to avoid those pesky little plastic pots!


  • 1 tin chickpeas

  • 1 tin butter beans

  • 2 large cooked and chopped beetroots

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • Juice of 1 lemon (+more to taste)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp tahini

  • 1 tsp salt (+more to taste)

  • Black cohosh/nigella seeds to decorate
