Obsessed with good food and finding joy in living well
I'm Marie - a food lover and nutritional therapist with a background in psychology.
Through working in the English National Health Service (NHS) for 4 years, helping individuals with depression and anxiety find their way back to good mental health, I realised that focusing on medication and psychology alone is not always enough. There are important links between the foods we eat, our lifestyle and mental health (read more about this here).
The times we live in are full of challenges (from your daily commute to the news, the pressures of social media and trying to make decisions about what to eat in an age of information overload). I will help you learn how to eat well and take good care of yourself despite all of this so that you can support your wellbeing whether you are feeling depressed, anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, ill or simply not at your best.
To help you do this I combine my love of food, wellness and psychology to offer nutritional therapy with a focus on mental wellbeing.
I have a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bath, a PGCert degree in Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapies from UCL and a PGDip in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Worcester. I am currently submitting my master's thesis in order to complete my MSc in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester.
I am registered with and approved by both the Danish and the UK governing bodies for Nutritional Therapists. You can find me on the BANT (UK) and DET (DK) registers.

CHARITABLE WORK - For every 9 clients I am able to offer one person a free therapy package. These are people who are experiencing financial difficulties and would otherwise not be able to afford private therapy. A huge thank you goes to all paying clients who make this work possible.
If you believe you may be eligible for this, please fill in the contact form below and tell me a little about your situation. We can then arrange a phone call to discuss how I might be able to help.
